JAKARTA, POLITIK.ARAHKITA.COM -- Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Sekjen Partai Gerindra Ahmad Muzani mengatakan Presiden Ke-5 RI sekaligus Ketua Umum PDI Perjuangan Megawati Soekarnoputri akan mendukung pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto dari luar koalisi.
"Ibu Mega mengharapkan agar masa kepresidenan Pak Prabowo yang telah dilantik pada tanggal 20 Oktober 2024 bisa efektif, untuk kebaikan dan kesejahteraan rakyat. Karena itu jika dianggap perlu silakan menggunakan PDI sebagai instrumen yang juga bisa digunakan untuk memperkuat pemerintahan tetapi tidak dalam posisi dalam koalisi," kata Muzani di Gedung DPR/MPR, Jakarta, Rabu (9/4/2025).
Muzani mengatakan Megawati juga menyampaikan harapan agar pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo senantiasa terus mendepankan kepentingan rakyat.
"Ya kira-kira seperti itu, pokoknya begitu.Jadi pada prinsipnya ibu Megawati juga berharap agar masa kepresidenan Pak Prabowo bisa efektif sebagai kepala pemerintahan dan Kepala Negara menggunakan kekuatannya untuk kepentingan rakyat dan rakyat Indonesia," ujarnya dikutip Antara.
Diketahui, Presiden Ke-5 RI sekaligus Ketua Umum PDI Perjuangan Megawati Soekarnoputri menerima kunjungan Presiden Prabowo Subianto di kediamannya, Jalan Teuku Umar, Jakarta, Senin (7/4/2025) malam.
Pertemuan di kediaman Megawati pada malam itu dilaksanakan dalam rangka silaturahim setelah Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1446 Hijriah/2025 Masehi.
Adapun sejumlah tokoh yang turut hadir ke kediaman Megawati, mulai dari Ketua MPR RI yang juga Sekretaris Jenderal Partai Gerindra Ahmad Muzani, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Prasetyo Hadi, Sekretaris Kabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya, hingga Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik dan Keamanan Budi Gunawan.
