JAKARTA, POLITIK.ARAHKITA.COM - Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) Pro Joko Widodo (Projo) menilai Ridwan Kamil masih menjadi lawan yang sebanding untuk Anies Baswedan jika keduanya memutuskan maju sebagai calon gubernur dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) 2024 di Jakarta.
Bendahara Umum DPP Projo Panel Barus saat jumpa pers di Jakarta, Jumat, menjelaskan Ridwan Kamil (RK) telah menunjukkan kinerja baik selama menjabat sebagai gubernur Jawa Barat periode 2018–2023.
“Terkait lawan Anies di Jakarta, tadi balik lagi, kami per sore ini dan yang kemarin masih melihat Pak RK bisa mengatasi Anies, apabila Anies maju. Kami yakin seperti itu,” kata Panel Barus menjawab pertanyaan wartawan dikutip Antara.
Dia melanjutkan RK juga saat ini dikenal luas sebagai sosok yang moderat, serta pemimpin yang ulung.
“Pengalaman RK di Jawa Barat, terus juga menjadi tokoh yang moderat, pengalaman bukti kerja yang cukup bagus selama di Jawa Barat, dan orang di Jakarta ini mayoritas banyak juga orang Jawa Barat, karena Jakarta ini satelitnya dikelilingi Jawa Barat semua dan Banten,” kata dia.
Sejauh ini, RK belum memutuskan maju mencalonkan diri sebagai calon gubernur Jakarta di Pilkada 2024, sementara Anies secara terbuka mengumumkan niatnya ikut dalam kontestasi Pilkada 2024 sebagai calon gubernur.
Anies mengumumkan pencalonannya itu saat menerima surat rekomendasi dari DPW PKB Jakarta pada 13 Juni 2024. Beberapa partai seperti NasDem dan PKS juga memberi sinyal kuat bakal mendukung Anies maju sebagai calon gubernur Jakarta di Pilkada 2024.
Sementara itu, Ridwan Kamil, yang merupakan kader Partai Golkar, telah menerima surat tugas dari partai untuk maju di Pilkada Jawa Barat dan Jakarta.
Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Airlangga Hartarto di hadapan wartawan (17/6/2024) menyebut keputusan Ridwan Kamil nanti bakal mendengar pertimbangan partai. “Jadi tentu Pak Ridwan Kamil akan mendengar pertimbangan yang ada, dukungan dari parpol, dan tentu akan ada kesepakatan antar ketua umum,” kata Airlangga.
Ridwan Kamil saat ditemui di Jakarta (10/7), menyatakan dia bakal mengikuti keputusan partai terkait pencalonannya di Pilkada 2024. “Per malam ini, tadi disampaikan masih belum ada keputusan khususnya Jabar dan DKI,” kata RK.
Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) RI menetapkan pemilihan kepala daerah berlangsung serentak di 37 provinsi dan 508 kabupaten/kota. Pemungutan suara untuk Pilkada 2024 itu dijadwalkan berlangsung pada tanggal 27 November 2024.
