JAKARTA, POLITIK.ARAHKITA.COM - Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) Partai Gerindra Ahmad Muzani mengatakan pihaknya memandang penting adanya dukungan PDI Perjuangan terhadap pemerintahan Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto.
"Tentu saja bagi kami penting artinya dukungan dan support dari PDI Perjuangan dalam berbagai macam kebijakan dan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah di bawah Presiden Prabowo," kata Muzani di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, Kamis (17/4/2025).
Meski demikian, dia menginsyafi bahwa mendukung pemerintahan tak harus melulu bergabung dalam koalisi.
"Artinya, membantu dan mendukung pemerintah tidak harus masuk dalam koalisi dan itu yang sekarang dilakukan oleh PDI Perjuangan," ucapnya.
Dia menyebut bahwa dukungan PDIP terhadap pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo dengan mengambil posisi di luar koalisi sedianya telah didapati pihaknya menjelang Prabowo resmi dilantik sebagai Presiden RI pada 20 Oktober 2024.
"Memang seperti yang sudah ditegaskan beberapa kali, misalnya menjelang pelantikan Presiden tanggal 20 Oktober, PDIP adalah kekuatan partai politik yang akan memberikan support dan dukungan kepada pemerintah, tanpa harus masuk dalam koalisi," kata dia dikutip Antara.
Sebelumnya (9/4), Ahmad Muzani mengatakan bahwa Presiden ke-5 RI sekaligus Ketua Umum PDI Perjuangan Megawati Soekarnoputri akan mendukung pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto dari luar koalisi.
"Ibu Mega mengharapkan agar masa kepresidenan Pak Prabowo yang telah dilantik pada tanggal 20 Oktober 2024 bisa efektif, untuk kebaikan dan kesejahteraan rakyat," kata Muzani di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta.
Oleh karena itu, lanjut Muzani, jika dianggap perlu, dipersilakan gunakan PDI Perjuangan sebagai instrumen yang juga bisa digunakan untuk perkuat pemerintahan, tetapi tidak dalam posisi koalisi.
Adapun, Megawati menerima kunjungan Presiden Prabowo Subianto di kediamannya, Jalan Teuku Umar, Jakarta, Senin (7/4/2025) malam.
Pertemuan di kediaman Megawati pada malam itu dalam rangka silaturahmi setelah Lebaran 2025.
